Job summary

McWane, Inc. is hiring for Clow Valve’s Machine Shop to fill a 2nd shift Shipping Forklift position. Shift is Monday - Thursday 3pm-1am with starting wage $28.34 and qualified wage $28.72 plus a $0.90 shift differential.

Health insurance is available after 60 days. You will load, transport, and position product within the facility while maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities include inspecting loads, loading trucks, transferring items to designated areas, and ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Must operate moving vehicles, including crane, truck, or forklift.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand up to 2 hours per day.
• Wear PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, metatarsal guarded boots, and others required.
• Ability to understand and operate forklift in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Visually assessing and clearing traffic area of people, objects, and forklift traffic.
• Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
• Loading product onto truck for transport
• Transfer product to designated location throughout the facility.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork
