Clow Valve's Machine Shop in Oskaloosa, IA, has an opening for a 2nd shift Shipping Forklift. The role runs Monday–Thursday, 3pm–1am, with health insurance after 60 days.

Responsibilities include clearing traffic areas, verifying loads, loading trucks, moving product to designated locations, and upholding safety rules. Candidates must operate forklifts and lift up to 50 lbs, with PPE provided as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate moving vehicles, including crane, truck, or forklift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand up to 2 hours per day.
• Ability to utilize PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, metatarsal guarded boots, and others required.
• Ability to understand and operate forklift in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Visually assess and clear their traffic area of people, objects, and other forklift traffic.
• Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
• Loading product onto truck for transport.
• Transfer product to designated location throughout the facility.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork
