Job summary

Clow Valve Company's Machine Shop in Oskaloosa, IA has an opening for a 2nd shift Shipping Forklift role. You will move and load product, inspect loads, and ensure safe transport within the facility.

Starting wage is $28.34 per hour with a qualification wage of $28.72 and a $0.90 shift differential; health insurance is provided after 60 days. Responsibilities include clearing traffic areas, securing loads, transferring product to designated locations, and following safety rules; lifting up to 50

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate moving vehicles, including crane, truck, or forklift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Stand up to 2 hours per day.
• Ability to utilize PPE including: safety glasses, hearing protection, metatarsal guarded boots, and others required.
• Ability to understand and operate forklift in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people, objects, and other forklift traffic.
• Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
• Loading product onto truck for transport
• Transfer product to designated location throughout the facility.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork
