Job summary

Neogen is seeking a 2nd shift Shipping Clerk I in Sterling, VA to support inbound/outbound distribution in a fast-paced warehouse. You will receive, store and distribute finished goods, and use computerized systems to monitor stock and fulfill orders.

The role emphasizes accurate order picking, packing, labeling, and shipping via parcel carriers and freight, with a strong focus on safety and proper documentation; experience operating basic distribution equipment is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum six months distribution/ warehouse experience in an inbound or outbound function.
• RF scanner experience desired but not required.
• Forklift certification desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate all necessary distribution equipment.
• Picking orders with RF scanner, inventory lookup and transfers.
• Pack, label and ship orders (UPS, FedEx, DHL) and manage international shipments.
• Complete paperwork accurately and ensure proper packing per work instructions.
• Overtime may be assigned by management.
