Requirements

Primary responsibilities:

• Read job jacket and ensure all required production steps have been completed and product matches job jacket requirements.
• Check packing instructions and quantity to make sure order ships per customer specifications, quantity ordered, and correct shipping carrier.
• Weigh cartons to make sure department procedures are met.
• Enter shipment information in shipping system to produce packing slip and customer information.
• Update shipping information on the job jacket.
• Process shipment through automated shipping system to make sure correct carrier is selected and shipping charges are applied.

Qualifications:

• High school degree or general education (GED); three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to comprehend and follow simple instructions.
• Ability to communicate one-on-one with other employees.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Skill to complete basic math skills; add, subtract, etc.
• Skill to apply common sense understanding to carry out verbal instructions.

Benefits

Positions include a full benefits package that includes medical, dental, paid time off, and 401(k). Work shifts are Monday through Friday, eight-hour shifts, with the opportunity for overtime when required to meet production demands.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Starting $17.00 per hour
