Job summary

The Vollrath Company in Kiel, WI is seeking a skilled sheet metal worker for 2nd shift. Start: 2:00 pm, end: 10:30 pm to 12:30 am, with training on 1st shift available.

You will set up and perform sheet metal operations including shearing, forming, punching, deburring, and spot welding, following sketches, blueprints, and process sheets to meet quality standards. Safe work practices and own basic tools are required.

Qualifications

• Sheet metal operations such as shearing, forming, punching, deburring and spot welding.
• Ability to read sketches, blueprints and process sheets to plan activities.
• Perform layouts, setups and inspections to ensure quality standards.
• Initiate corrective action to resolve complex problems with tooling and templates.
• Maintain good housekeeping and safe practices on the job.

Responsibilities

• Set up and perform a wide variety of sheet metal operations.
• Plan sequence of activities from sketches, blueprints and process sheets.
• Perform complex layouts, setups and inspections to meet quality standards.
