Job summary

Precision-Pulley-and-Idler is seeking a Shaft Install Technician for the 2nd shift in Pella, IA. The role mounts shafts into pulleys, applies Cosmoline, and performs inspections to verify proper mounting according to specifications.

You will use blueprints, schedules, and technical standards while maintaining safety and housekeeping. Training is provided to expand skills and handle additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficient use of math skills.

• Read and understand blueprints and/or order specifications.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Mount shafts into pulleys.
• Apply Cosmoline to shafts.
• Inspect pulley and shaft.
• Ensure parts mounted to specs.
• Read schedules, prints, and technical standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping.
• Attend training and adapt to new tasks.
• Attend to attendance and reliability.
