Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Welding certification (PPI) preferred but not required; ongoing training encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Ensure parts and components are accurate according to specifications.
• Jig, assemble, and weld parts and components.
• Operate a wire welder following weld penetrations, appearance, and quantity specs.
• Use various hand tools and machinery (lathe, grinder, torch) to meet quality expectations.
• Grind, clean, and bevel welds as needed.
• Read and understand paperwork (schedules, prints, specs).
• Request and gather raw materials and components needed for tasks.
• Perform additional tasks in related areas as assigned.
• Maintain general housekeeping in the work area.
