Walmart Inc. is seeking a Service Shop Preventative Maintenance Technician in Hope Mills, NC (2nd shift). The role focuses on performing preventive maintenance and repairs on Walmart equipment, ensuring trailers, tractors, yard trucks, and service vehicles stay safe and road-ready.

You will create work orders, diagnose needs, and execute repair solutions while following DOT guidelines and company policies. Comprehensive benefits and a focus on safety and documentation support ongoing operations.

Formación

Valid state-issued driver's license.
Brake inspection qualified as defined by FMCSA regulations, 396.25.
Vehicle inspection qualified as defined by FMCSA regulations, 396.19.

Responsabilidades

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on Walmart equipment (trailers, tractors, yard trucks, shop equipment).
Create and process work orders; assess needs, identify parts, and select repair solutions.
Repair/replace brake components, wheel seals, and tires per DOT requirements.
Communicate updates and complete required logs, records, and computer-based documentation.
Receive fuel drops, monitor safety compliance, and collect/prepare fuel paperwork.
