You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or any of our other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients all over the world.

The role involves preventive and unexpected in-process maintenance of production equipment for commercial and pre-commercial products, ensuring ongoing optimal performance in compliance with EHS, Good Manufacturing, Good Documentation Practices, and other regulatory guidelines related to medical device manufacturing.

How you'll make an impact:

The standard hours for this role are Tuesday-Saturday, 1:30-10:00 pm.

• Perform weekly preventive maintenance routines on a wide range of equipment to avoid downtime.
• Check for failures and perform corrective actions, including writing impact assessment reports, exception work orders (EWOs), Equipment Non-conformance Reports (ENCRs), and Out of Tolerance (OOT) reports.
• Review, follow, and perform checklist actions in compliance with work instructions and SOPs, recording information in device history records and entering data into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Apply knowledge of processes and machinery to ensure successful outcomes, devise process changes, and assess new equipment for preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Collaborate on troubleshooting and recommend maintenance to limit downtime and keep production on schedule.
• Maintain punctuality, regular attendance, and work full shifts.
• Perform incidental duties such as housekeeping, participating in team meetings, and maintaining certifications.

What you'll need (Required):

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of related experience; working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, lubrication, pneumatic, boiler, autoclave, and/or HVAC systems.
• Trade school training in electrical, mechanical, or electronics, including internship experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of routine preventive maintenance of production equipment.
• In-house training on specialty equipment.
• Good communication skills and ability to provide professional feedback.
• Proficiency in English reading, speaking, and writing.
• Adherence to environmental, health, safety, and quality guidelines.
• Ability to work independently following detailed instructions.
• Teamwork skills and ability to interact with external contacts.
• Computer skills, including MS Office.
• Compliance with company rules, including pandemic protocols and EHS regulations.

We offer competitive salaries, performance incentives, and benefits to address the diverse needs of our employees and their families.

For California, the base pay range is $52,000 to $73,500, depending on qualifications and experience.
