Job Description: Equipment Maintenance Technician

You’ll partner cross-functionally with manufacturing operations and sales teams, delivering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges all while developing your knowledge of the medical device industry. Whether your work includes strategic inventory planning, labeling, warehouse management, material handling, or other supply chain opportunities, you will be making a meaningful contribution to our team and to patients worldwide.

Role Overview: This role applies skills in the preventive and unexpected in-process maintenance of production equipment for commercial and pre-commercial products, ensuring optimal performance in compliance with EHS, Good Manufacturing, Good Documentation Practices, and other regulatory standards associated with medical device manufacturing.

How you'll make an impact:

The standard hours for this role are Tuesday-Saturday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM.

  1. Perform weekly preventive maintenance routines on a range of equipment to prevent downtime.
  2. Identify and address equipment failures, performing corrective actions, and documenting incidents, including impact assessments, EWOs, ENCRs, and OOTs.
  3. Follow checklists and SOPs for all equipment, recording traceable information in device history records and entering data into the CMMS.
  4. Utilize process knowledge to ensure successful machine outcomes, suggest process improvements, and evaluate new equipment for preventive maintenance scheduling.
  5. Collaborate on troubleshooting and maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  6. Maintain punctuality, regular attendance, and a full work period.
  7. Perform additional duties such as housekeeping, participating in team meetings, and maintaining operational certifications.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus 3 years related experience; knowledge of electrical, mechanical, lubrication, pneumatic, boiler, autoclave, and HVAC systems is required.
  • Completion of a trade school program in electrical, mechanical, or electronics, including internship, is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive knowledge of routine preventive maintenance of production equipment.
  • In-house training on specialty equipment operations.
  • Good communication skills and ability to provide professional feedback.
  • Proficiency in English reading, speaking, and writing.
  • Adherence to EHS, GMP, and documentation standards in a clean room environment.
  • Ability to work independently following detailed instructions.
  • Teamwork skills, including collaboration with inter-departmental teams and external contacts.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and compliance with company safety and environmental protocols.

We offer competitive salaries, performance incentives, and benefits to support our employees and their families.
