Job summary

Amentum is seeking a 2nd shift General Maintenance Technician III in Davenport, IA to support 24/7 operations. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, blowers, fans, doors, and gate mechanisms, with preventive maintenance tasks logged in CMMS.

You will conduct inspections, safety compliance, and coordinate with customers while maintaining a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Welding skills a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs blowers and fans.
• Troubleshoot and repair overhead doors.
• Troubleshoot and repair roll up doors and gates.
• Perform preventive maintenance per CMMS.
• Ensure safety compliance and wear PPE as required.
• Communicate noncompliance concerns and assist corrective actions.
• Operate tools and diagnostic equipment.
