Job summary

Titan Security in Oak Brook, IL is seeking a frontline security associate to provide excellent customer service at the front desk, manage access for tenants and visitors, and maintain logs. This role requires strong communication, the ability to work varied shifts, and a willingness to work in all weather.

You must be 21+ years old, have a high school diploma or GED, read and speak English, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Experience as door staff, receptionist, customer service or similar roles.
• Comfortable around dogs, cats and other pets.
• High School diploma or GED obtained.
• Able to obtain Illinois PERC badge and complete state training.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Able to meet physical duties including lifting 50+ lbs and patrols.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all parties on duty.
• Maintain accurate administrative logs at front desk.
• Control access for tenants, visitors, or vendors.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols.
• Respond to incidents and document data for management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information
• Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required
• Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel or restaurant position.
• Must be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state accredited training requirements
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
• Evening, overnight, and weekend availability required
