Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Security, or a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in physical security, law enforcement, military, or a related field preferred.
• Experience operating security systems such as CCTV, access control, and alarm monitoring is a plus.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to interact professionally with employees and visitors.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications and incident reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to facilities by verifying identification, credentials, and visitor logs.
• Conduct security screenings, bag checks, and other access control procedures as required.
• Enforce company security policies, procedures, and site-specific protocols.
• Monitor security systems, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems, for potential threats or unauthorized activities.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of the premises to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards.
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist with evacuations, crowd control, and emergency response procedures as needed.
• De-escalate conflicts and diffuse potentially volatile situations with professionalism.
