Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a 1st shift security guard at the Guntersville, AL plant to monitor traffic, inspect trailers, and supervise parking lot activity. The role requires English literacy, basic computer skills, physical stamina to walk and climb stairs, and the ability to work without supervision.

The base salary range is $29,787.00 to $33,510.60 per year (biweekly pay). The position may involve 2nd shift hours (1PM-10PM) and requires adherence to company policies, safety checks, and timely

Responsibilities

• Monitors plant activity.
• Hourly rounds (checking trailer temps, room temps, and gates).
• Monitor all associates entering and exiting building including car traffic.
• Weight master scales, weighing trailers in and out.
• Answering switchboard after hours.
• Billing loads.
• Follow and implement company policies.
• Operate company owned vehicles
• Inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability
• Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials
• Other duties as assigned
