Mesa Public Schools is seeking a dedicated custodian for the 2nd shift to maintain cleanliness and safe conditions across district facilities. The position offers full-time hours (40 per week) with an evening shift include an extra $0.35 per hour.

The base hourly rate starts at $17.12, with comprehensive benefits and retirement options. Applicants must perform duties per district standards, demonstrate reliability, and work well with staff in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of custodial equipment, supplies, and proper cleaning procedures.
• High School education or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform custodial duties as required by district standards
• Perform many diversified tasks each day to maintain the cleanliness and safe condition of the schools
• Operate custodial power equipment
• Assist in moving equipment and furniture as required
• Regular and on-time attendance required
• Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
• Assists with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area of assignment and Mesa Public Schools
