Job summary

Barre Unified Union School District Barre City Elementary and Middle School - Barre, Vermont, is seeking a 2nd shift custodian. The role runs 3:00 pm–11:30 pm during the school year and 7:00 am–3:30 pm in the summer, with a pay rate of $20.99 per hour plus a $0.50 per hour shift differential for the second shift. Starting date is immediate. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Be able to perform physical labor/activities, lifting, unassisted, bending, standing, climbing and walking
• Work effectively and respectfully with public
• Understand and carry out oral and written directions
• Maintain cooperative working relationships
• Demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population
• Pass a background and fingerprint check
• Background in commercial cleaning preferred
