Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking a reliable custodial teammate for a 2nd shift position in Michigan. You will sweep, mop, vacuum, clean restrooms, windows, and interior fixtures, and assist with moving furniture and supplies between buildings.

Responsibilities include floor care, cleaning tasks, organizing custodial closets, and occasional driving between sites as needed. FBI fingerprinting and background checks are required; benefits include medical, life, dental and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass FBI fingerprinting, a background check, and an E-verify process.
• Criminal background check and driving background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and wax floors.
• Machine shampoo carpeting.
• Clean walls, vents, screens, furniture, drinking fountains, light fixtures, window blinds, brass, and other interior fixtures.
• Wash interior and exterior windows and glass doors.
• Sweep entryways, empty exterior cigarette urns, and empty trashcans.
• Clean restrooms, replenish supplies.
• Change interior light bulbs that can be reached from the sixth step of a ladder or lower.
• Move, remove, and set up furniture and supplies for special functions as directed.
• Drive between locations as needed.
