Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking 2nd shift General Cleaners for school system facilities. Responsibilities include sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, restroom sanitation and light maintenance. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks with reliability and teamwork.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous cleaning experience is a plus; background check required. Company provides standard benefits for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Experience: Previous cleaning experience a plus.
• Physical: Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, mop, vacuum, extract carpet and sanitize facilities.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and locker rooms; wash windows and entry areas.
• Remove trash, recycling, and assist with basic floor care (stripping/waxing as needed).
• Follow custodial supervisor directions and maintain safety standards.
