Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare spaces for the next day by taking out trash, tidying furniture and dusting surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors; vacuum carpets.
• Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and showers; restock disposables (soap, etc.).
• Wipe mirrors and windows.
• Maintain outer entrances by cleaning.
• Keep janitor's room neat; stock supplies.
• Perform basic repairs (replacing switches, door handles, minor leaks).
• Report major damages and oversee repairs.
• Secure facilities after hours by locking doors and closing windows.
• Occasionally perform custodial tasks (snow removal, moving chairs); follow safety rules.
