Base pay range
$1.00/hr - $1.00/hr
This is a second shift job, 12 months per year, vacation days and 12 paid holidays, full benefits.
Responsibilities
- Perform custodial duties including dusting, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, washing windows, and restocking supplies.
- Perform routine maintenance on custodial equipment and supplies.
- Empty trash and dispose of it properly.
- Ensure doors are locked after cleaning and put up safety signs as needed.
- Report needs and concerns to appropriate staff and assist with work orders and supply checks.
- Maintain equipment and promote safety practices.
- Perform minor maintenance on equipment and furniture.
- Assist in training new staff.
- Perform seasonal or project-specific cleaning functions.
- Prepare and maintain athletic fields and gym floors, install and maintain equipment, and assist with gym refinishing.
- Set up for indoor sporting events and manage related tasks.
- Provide vendor access and report issues as needed.
- Assist with snow removal and minor repairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Operate cleaning equipment and tools safely.
- Lift and manipulate heavy objects.

Physical Demands
- Lifting and carrying up to 60 pounds, climbing, kneeling, crouching, crawling.
- Job involves 80% walking, 15% standing, 5% sitting.
- Exposure to temperature extremes and potential health hazards.
Terms of Employment
- Complete criminal background check required.
- 12 months, full-time, 8 hours/day, full benefits.
- Starting hourly rate: $16.97-$18.69, plus $1/hour referendum funds.
