Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in sawmills/manufacturing.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; ability to read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on saws, conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Inspect, clean, lubricate, and adjust equipment to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during PM and report findings.
• Replace worn or damaged belts, bearings, chains, and gears as needed.
• Maintain records of maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs in the CMMS.
• Coordinate with the team to plan maintenance schedules.
• Ensure safety compliance with company standards and OSHA regulations.
• Assist in maintaining stocked inventory of tools and spare parts.
