Qualifications

• Experience performing preventative maintenance on industrial machinery.
• Ability to read maintenance manuals and diagrams.
• Basic welding and use of cutting torches.
• Familiarity with forklift, trailers, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on sawmill equipment to maximize uptime, quality, and productivity.
• Inspect, service, and adjust vehicles including tractors, trailers, and forklifts.
• Replace defective parts and align moving components.
• Assemble and install equipment; move equipment using hoists and dollies.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems.
• Adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
