Job summary

TriMas Company LLC is seeking a 2nd Shift Saw Operator in Longview, TX. The role involves operating saw equipment, inspecting cut parts, and assisting in material flow across fabrication and finishing areas. Overtime may be required, and a forklift license is beneficial.

Responsibilities include reading work orders, checking tolerances, setting up fixtures, and ensuring quality standards. This is an on-site, full-time hourly position with potential for experience-based progression.

Qualifications

• Must possess education or experience enabling effective communication and performance of duties.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents related to the job.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Reasoning ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems and handling varied assignments.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and perform production, inspection and distribution tasks.
• Check blueprint drawings or job orders for product specifications and tooling instructions.
• Set up fixtures, start machines and spin cycles; verify part conformance to specs.
• Modify programs in a Windows-based environment to manufacture per product specifications; verify programs before production.
• Direct flow and temperature of torch to work piece and operate saw; inspect cut parts.
