Job summary

Modular Mission Critical, part of M.C. Dean, seeks a Fabrication Welding Technician to perform multiple welding processes and prepare precision weldments from blueprints. The role supports our production lines and requires second-shift availability.

You will handle saw operation, material handling, and basic maintenance while upholding strict safety standards on a fast-growing campus near Richmond, VA. A high school diploma or GED is required, and forklift skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets basic blueprints or shop drawings.
• Maintains safe, clean work area and follows safety practices.
• Operates welding-related equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work on second shift.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets basic blue prints.
• Completes daily stock inventory reports.
• Maintains proper inventory levels of materials.
• Unload raw materials from semi-trucks and store material.
• Uses iron working for punching as appropriate.
• Maintains equipment and ensures work area is clean and safe at all times.
• Performs basic preventative maintenance on saw equipment.
• Adheres to safety practices and OSHA requirements.
• Operates forklift.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment.
