Job summary

TriMas Company LLC in Longview, TX is seeking a 2nd Shift Saw Operator. This hourly, full-time role supports production, inspection and distribution, with emphasis on safety, quality and teamwork in a busy on-site manufacturing environment.

Candidates should be able to read blueprints, set up fixtures, operate saws and robotics, and complete written reports. Overtime, strict adherence to quality policy, and the ability to maintain clean work areas are required.

Qualifications

• Education or experience level to communicate and perform duties.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
• Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform production, inspection and distribution duties.
• Check blueprints/dimensions and tooling instructions.
• Set up fixtures, start machines and spin cycles.
• Operate saws and robotics, adjust flow and temperature as needed.
• Complete written reports and maintain housekeeping.
