Job summary

TriMas Company LLC in Longview, TX is seeking a production associate to perform a variety of operational functions in production, inspection and distribution of parts. On-site, hourly position with potential overtime.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up fixtures, operating machines and robotics, maintaining housekeeping, and working across fabrication and finishing areas. Forklift license required or to be obtained; teamwork essential.

Qualifications

• Education or experience permitting effective communication and duties.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents relating to the job.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
• Ability to make decisions when identifying in-process problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform production, inspection and distribution tasks as described by job orders.
• Set up fixtures and start machines for operations such as spin cycle.
• Check blueprints and job orders for product specifications and tolerances.
• Monitor machine operation and ensure conformance to design specs and quality standards.
• Operate robots and adjust flow to maintain smooth production.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow housekeeping practices.
• Possess forklift license or ability to obtain one.
