Tyson Foods is hiring for a 2nd Shift Sanitation Class 1 at the Wadesboro Hatchery in North Carolina. The role focuses on cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining hatchery facilities, with temperatures monitored in hatchers and setters and routine fogging and packaging tasks.

Overtime and physical requirements are part of the job, with day-one benefits offered. Starting pay is $17.00 per hour with additional shift differentials for evenings and weekends; onboarding includes comprehensive benefits

Competenze

• Must have at least 12 months of consecutive work history with one employer; no major gaps in past 36 months.
• Must be willing to work the 2nd shift schedule (3:30 PM start) and be able to work holidays as needed.
• Must be able to life/move 50 lbs and push/pull 500–1500 lbs; overhead lifting.
• Biosecurity and safety rules must be followed in a biosecure poultry facility.

Mansioni

• Operate high pressure and regular water hoses to clean and sanitize chick room.
• Monitor and record temperatures in hatchers and setters.
• Fogging and pad empty chick boxes; prepare offal room equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with other duties as assigned.
