Dessert Holdings is looking for a Sanitation Supervisor at our Newburyport, MA facility. You will lead a sanitation team on 2nd shift (5 pm to 3 am), ensuring cleanliness and compliance with SSOPs, HACCP, and GMP, for a safe manufacturing environment.

Qualifikationen

• Associate's degree in food science, microbiology, food safety or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years in QA or Sanitation role in a food manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years' experience in a Supervisory or Team leader role.

Aufgaben

• Supervise and guide staff to clean and sanitize production line equipment and facilities according to schedules and SSOPs.
• Implement and maintain sanitation procedures and training in compliance with the company's Sanitation Program.
• Monitor and address employee performance and adherence to attendance policies, providing guidance and feedback as needed.
• Provide hands-on support for chemical handling, safety procedures, and organized storage of sanitation supplies.
• Oversee pest control management, including scheduling, monitoring, and coordinating pest control activities to maintain a safe and compliant facility.
• Monitor sanitation performance, identify issues, and assist with corrective actions for non-compliance areas.
• Collaborate with other departments and shifts to resolve sanitation-related concerns promptly.
• Assist in audits (GFSI/FSC22000) and support corrective actions as needed.
• Train sanitation staff on SSOPs, GMPs, and safety standards.
• Maintain records of inspections, violations, and sanitation KPIs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support a clean, safe, and compliant manufacturing environment.
