Job summary

Klondike Cheese Company in Monroe, Wisconsin is seeking a 2nd shift sanitation worker to clean and sanitize equipment, machinery and work areas within a cooler environment of about 50 degrees. Your role supports top food safety standards throughout the facility.

We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus, a referral bonus, and starting pay of $19.00 per hour with an additional shift differential. Overtime may be required and attendance is essential for team success.

Qualifications

• Experience in cheese/food industry preferred but not required.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• A good attendance record is required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, machinery, and work areas.
• Work in cooler environment (approximately 50°F).
• Follow cleaning procedures using brushes, hoses, and chemicals to meet food safety standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Referral Bonus! 2ND SHIFT SANITATION Pay Rates: Starting at $19.00 per hour plus an extra hourly shift differential; more based on experience.

Job Duties: Cleaning and sanitizing equipment, machinery, and work areas in the facility (the temperature in this location is cooler, around 50 degrees), using brushes, hoses, and chemical cleaning agents to ensure the highest of food safety standards are met.

FETA Shift Hours: 2:00 PM-10:00 pm or until done; Monday-Friday plus every other Saturday.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

Cheese/food industry experience is preferred but not required. Must be willing to work overtime as needed. A good attendance record is required. Candidate must be a team player.

Employees are required to stand the duration of the shift, with frequent and repetitive bending, stooping, turning, reaching, grasping and lifting up to 50 pounds.
