Job summary

Komatsu invites qualified professionals to join our Peoria, IL manufacturing site as a Safety Compliance Auditor. The role reviews and audits safety rules in Production and Warehouse environments, working with Safety Department to reduce risks by identifying and addressing factors.

You will assist in investigations of injuries, learn OSHA and environmental regulations, and participate in safety training and circle activities to improve our safety program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 5+ years' hands-on experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of safety functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Manufacturing departments follow safety programs and records.
• Assist supervision in implementing safety plans and addressing issues.
• Investigate accidents to identify root causes and countermeasures.
• Support safety training and certification programs.
• Lead participative safety circle teams to improve safety.
• Be familiar with OSHA regulations and Environmental impact.
