Job summary

Positronic Industries, Inc. in Springfield, MO, seeks a Safety Coordinator to lead our occupational safety program across the plant, partnering with Operations, HR, Engineering, Quality, and Environmental teams to reduce risk and embed safety into daily operations.

This hands-on role reports to the Global Compliance & Risk Manager and covers risk management projects, emergency preparedness, sustainability, and regulatory compliance initiatives, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, or related field.
• At least 4 years of safety or regulatory-compliance experience; 6+ preferred.
• Experience with ISO 45001, hazard/risk assessments, and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the occupational safety program and ISO 45001-aligned management system.
• Maintain OSHA General Industry compliance and training records.
• Lead investigations of incidents, focus on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Coordinate training, safety committees, and reporting across Operations, HR, Engineering, and Quality.
