Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ year of robotic welding experience required.
• Basic knowledge of MIG welding, handheld plasma machines and cutting torches using cutting steel, acetylene and other cutting methods.
• Basic knowledge of welding techniques, material characteristics, and structural fundamentals.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit up.

Responsibilities

• Weld and assemble components using hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures.
• Prepare and complete work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal.
• Test and inspect welded components for specifications before moving to the next department.
• Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables.
• Program robotic welding systems and set up equipment for operation.
• Provide reports/feedback to supervisors or engineering teams.
• Maintain safety and report any unsafe conditions.
