Thrive Behavioral Health in Barrington, RI, is seeking a Residential Treatment Worker to provide direct services in a group home for individuals with long-term mental illness. Schedule: 2nd shift, 1pm–9pm, with starting pay at $20/hour depending on experience.

Key duties include supervising residents, teaching daily living skills, coordinating medical and psychiatric services, and ensuring accurate documentation and billing. Valid driver’s license is required for transportation duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in the Human Service field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Supervise residents and provide a safe and comfortable environment.
• Provide intensive education, training and modeling in basic living skills and social skills including budgeting and distinguishing wants vs needs.
• Coordinate and monitor medical, dental and psychiatric services.
• Supervise medication compliance.
• Produce and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records.
• Provide crisis intervention and basic behavioral program implementation.
• Transport clients.
• Maintain a positive Thrive image aligned with company ethics.

General Summary

Provide direct service and supervise daily living skills of residents within a group home for persons with long-term mental illness.

Location & Shift

Location: Barrington, Rhode Island 2nd Shift 1pm to 9pm

Salary: Starting at $20/hr, depending on experience

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and provide a safe and comfortable environment.
• Provide intensive education, training and modeling in basic living skills and social skills including but not limited to shopping within a budget understanding the difference between “want” vs. “needs”.
• Coordinate and monitor medical, dental and psychiatric services.
• Supervise medication compliance.
• Produce, complete, and maintain billing forms, logs, data collection forms, clinical documentation and client records in accordance with Thrive standards and state and federal regulations.
• Provide crisis intervention and basic behavioral program implementation.
• Transport clients.
• Review e‑mail account daily for new messages.
• Carry and enliven a positive Thrive image consistent with the Thrive’s Guiding Principles and professional code of ethics.

Qualifications: Education, Experience and Competencies

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in the Human Service field preferred.

Certifications, Licenses Requirements

• Valid driver’s license required or ability to obtain necessary transportation in order to perform the responsibilities/tasks of the job.
