Job summary

DeVivo Companies in Buffalo, NY is hiring a Refrigeration Technician for a full-time 2nd shift (Noon - 8:00 PM). You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair transport refrigeration units and auxiliary power units, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role offers factory training, advancement opportunities, and a well-equipped shop with generous PTO. Applicants should have 5 years of refrigeration/HVAC experience and own tools.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in refrigeration/HVAC installation and/or repair.
• Ability to diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment.
• Proficient with basic computer usage and reporting.
• Own and maintain standard hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and service inspections on TRU and APU units.
• Diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment and related components.
• Follow established procedures and complete repair orders accurately.
• Communicate effectively with supervisor, team and customers.
• Maintain compliance with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Occasional road service calls as needed.
