Job summary

Circular Services is seeking a Recycling Maintenance Mechanic for the 2nd shift in Normal, IL. You will repair and maintain machinery including conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production equipment, performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of mechanical repair experience in a heavy industrial setting, is flexible to work on multiple projects, and willing to travel to other plants.

Qualifications

• Technical school preferred
• 1 year minimum mechanical repair experience in a heavy industrial setting or equivalent
• Must be flexible to work on multiple projects
• Must be able to travel to other plants on occasion
• Preferred bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

• Observes mechanical equipment in operation to locate causes of trouble
• Work on projects like metal fabrication, trucks, trailers, conveyer systems, and electrical panels
• Diagnoses equipment failures and provides recommendations for proper repair
• Dismantles equipment to replace defective parts
• Adjusts functional parts and control instruments
• Ensure equipment complies with OEM and Regulatory Agencies operating standards and lubrication schedules
• Follow Preventive Maintenance Work Order procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
