Job summary

ASAC is seeking a Recovery Support Professional in Clinton, IA, to empower individuals on a transformative journey toward recovery from substance use. You will work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based interventions and supporting patients with skills for lasting change.

Responsibilities include supervising patients outside treatment sessions, documenting observations, leading educational sessions, and ensuring medication storage and safety.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.
• Must be available to work at least one weekend day per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for patients outside of treatment sessions.
• Document important observations and maintain patient case files.
• Lead skill development and educational sessions for patients.
• Monitor medication storage and assist with medication monitoring.
• Conduct patient urinalyses per agency policies.
• Facilitate on-site recreational activities and transport as needed.
• Provide transportation to meetings, appointments, and medical treatments.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and organization.
• Ensure facility security and maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and 42 CFR.
