Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Receiving Clerk for the 2nd shift. The role pays $19.00/hr plus a $2.50/hr shift differential, with a 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday, and overtime including Saturdays. Location is Plainfield, IN, with a full-time benefits package and on-demand pay options.

You will handle receiving duties, inspect shipments, and ensure inventory accuracy using the warehouse management system. Safety shoes are required on site.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience - required.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs.
• Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
• Effective communication skills - ability to work with drivers, carriers, and warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities

• Receive product utilizing WMS while adhering to inventory management requirements.
• Maintain quality standards by inspecting incoming shipments.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
• Follow all safety guidelines - safety shoes required.
