Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Receiving Clerk for a 2nd shift. You will receive product using the WMS, inspect shipments, and ensure inventory accuracy.

This full-time role offers benefits, on-demand Pay, and a shift 3:00pm-11:00pm, Monday–Friday with overtime on Saturdays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work safely.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, receiving, or inventory experience - required.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs.
• Basic understanding of inventory control and warehouse procedures.
• Effective communication skills - ability to work with drivers, carriers, and warehouse personnel.

Responsibilities

• Receive product utilizing WMS while adhering to inventory management requirements.
• Maintain quality standards by inspecting incoming shipments.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments.
• Follow all safety guidelines - safety shoes required.
