Siemens Energy is seeking a Quality Technician for 2nd shift in Fort Payne, AL. You will inspect materials, perform calibrations, run laboratory tests, and review quality records to ensure conformance to Siemens Energy standards.

You’ll work with cross-functional teams to identify issues and drive timely corrective actions. The role emphasizes attention to detail, documentation quality, and ongoing improvement in product quality and operational excellence, with potential overtime and shift

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a quality mindset.
• Manufacturing or quality inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and gauging equipment.
• Strong communication and digital literacy; familiarity with SAP and MS Office.
• Ability to work independently, cross-train across quality functions, and adjust shifts as needed.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality by identifying concerns and preventing nonconforming materials from advancing.
• Verify the quality of incoming materials, in-process components, finished products, and quality records.
• Perform dimensional inspections, laboratory testing, calibration activities, and interpretation of drawings.
• Document inspection results and nonconformances with quality systems accurately.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and quality-related events.
