Job summary

AVL is seeking a Quality Supervisor for the Charlotte, NC facility. The role leads a team of quality coordinators across electrical and mechanical aspects to maintain product quality and compliance, and to establish robust quality systems.

You will oversee daily inspection activities, support internal and customer audits, drive corrective actions, and train staff on control plans and measurement methods, ensuring processes meet customer expectations and ISO-like standards.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 3+ years in a manufacturing quality role with supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools (e.g., 8D, SPC, Control Charts).
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
