Job summary

Rittal LLC in Urbana, OH is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 2nd shift. You will visually inspect parts, read blueprints, and verify documentation while using inspection tools to generate dimensional reports.

You will serve as a quality gate between production and customers, participate in Gage R&R studies, and help ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 while adhering to safety rules and procedures.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of GD&T and measurement tools.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 is a plus.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect parts for quality compliance.
• Verify documentation accuracy.
• Read blueprints to determine specifications and tolerances.
• Use inspection tools to prepare dimensional reports.
• Initiate containment for discrepancies.
• Support Gage R&R studies.
• Act as a neutral liaison between production and customer.
• Communicate findings and non-conformances to stakeholders.
• Follow work instructions and safety policies.
• Record inspection data and use company portal for time tracking.
