Rittal LLC in Urbana, OH is seeking a Quality Inspector for the 3rd shift to ensure parts meet all quality requirements.

You will read blueprints, use calipers, micrometers, and indicators, perform inspections, document results, and escalate non-conformances. The role requires high school diploma and at least one year of related experience; familiarity with ISO 9001:2015, SAP, and MS Office is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of GD&T and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators).
• Strong communication and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect parts for quality compliance.
• Verify documents for accuracy.
• Read blueprints to determine specs and tolerances.
• Use inspection tools to prepare dimensional reports.
• Initiate containment for discrepancies.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders.
