Job summary

Global Edge Consultants, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector (2nd Shift) to support inspection and validation in a manufacturing setting. You will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other gauges to ensure parts meet specs.

Ideal candidates read blueprints and CAD data, maintain calibration records, and work with engineers to improve processes. The role requires accuracy, focus, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3+ years of quality inspection experience in manufacturing or precision machining.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong math skills for dimensional calculations and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on components and finished products.
• Validate first piece inspections and ensure process compliance.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD data.
• Maintain calibration records and document results in the QMS.
• Collaborate with engineers to improve inspection processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
