Job summary

Repligen in Clifton Park, NY is seeking a Quality Control Inspector I for the 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm, Mon-Fri). The role focuses on inspecting products, interpreting drawings, and documenting results to uphold stringent quality standards.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, QA/QC exposure, and strong math/measuring skills; cleanroom and medical device manufacturing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; science degree preferred.
• Quality Assurance or Quality Control experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail in a structured environment.
• Proficient in basic math, measurements and testing equipment.
• Experience in a cleanroom environment is desirable.
• Medical device or medical manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products against acceptance criteria to maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and purchase orders.
• Document inspection results using Microsoft Office and other software.
• Use precision measurement tools like calipers and pin gauges.
• Operate in an ISO 7 cleanroom following gowning procedures.
• Support additional quality-related functions as needed.
