Job summary

TRCC is seeking a QC Technician on the 2nd shift to perform chemical testing in our on-site laboratory. The role focuses on establishing quality control and quality assurance for our aqueous polymers and compounds products.

The ideal candidate will perform a range of tests (acid-base titrations, pH, conductivity, moisture, density, viscosity) and operate FTIR, XRF, GC, HPLC, and GPC equipment, while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associates degree in a related field preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical tests including titrations, moisture, pH, conductivity, and density.
• Log samples and report results to chemist.
• Operate FTIR, XRF, GC, HPLC, and GPC instruments.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and prepare samples for testing.
• Coordinate with production staff on test results.
