Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in quality assurance or 6 months WayneSanderson employee.
• Intermediate math and computer skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbal and written, with internal and external customers.
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages preferred.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Verify and enforce GMPs and packaging procedures.
• Verify labels, lot codes, bags, boxes, and pallets are correctly adhered, printed, sealed, and stacked.
• Verify receiving of incoming raw materials and ingredients; inform QA Team Leader if any product does not meet specifications.
• Assist production with day-to-day quality problems to reach workable solutions.
• Assure microbiological swabs and samplings are performed at correct times and positions.
• Assist in ensuring all quality and food safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Work in compliance with all policies and regulations.
• All other duties as assigned.
