Job summary

ZIEHL-ABEGG Inc. North America is seeking a Quality Assurance Line Inspector for the 2nd shift to ensure production of high-quality products on the line. In this role you will conduct visual and functional inspections, use calipers and micrometers, document defects, and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; quality control coursework is a plus.
• Previous QA or related field experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects.
• Familiarity with quality control tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to understand drawings and technical specifications.
• Good communication of inspection results and quality concerns.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Team-oriented with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual and/or functional inspections of products on the production line.
• Utilize testing equipment to ensure products meet quality standards.
• Identify and document defects, deviations, or non-conformities.
• Record inspection results and maintain logs.
• Work with production teams to address quality issues.
• Provide feedback to supervisors and QA staff on product quality.
• Adhere to quality control standards and procedures.
• Monitor compliance with specifications and requirements.
• Participate in initiatives to enhance overall product quality.
• Support a quality-conscious culture and ISO compliance.
• Handle electrical and mechanical troubleshooting as needed.
• Prevent non-conforming products from leaving production.
