Job summary

ZIEHL-ABEGG, INC., a world-leading fan and motor manufacturer, seeks a Quality Assurance Supervisor to ensure optimal quality in incoming goods, in-process, and final inspections to boost customer satisfaction.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop controlled documents, drive ISO and QMS compliance, train new hires, and report quality costs and defects monthly to support continuous improvement across US operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Quality
• CAPA and Root Cause Investigation Analysis
• Experience with 8D reporting
• Ability to read blueprints
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to work hands on in multiple departments
• Technical writing and analytical skills for detailed reporting
• Strong communication skills to internal and external customers both US and global
• Lean practices including TQM, Six Sigma, and 5S
• ISO 9001 requirements
• Customer oriented personality

Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will e nsure optimal quality processes in incoming goods, in process inspection, and final inspection to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Develop controlled documents and lead process improvements with other departments
• Ensure compliance with Quality Management System standards and ISO requirements
• Coordinate training schedules for all new hires
• Supervise and train Quality Assurance team
• Coordinate process releases for new components
• Investigation of production issues
• Reporting of Q costs and defects monthly
• All other duties assigned
