Greif, Inc. is seeking a Production Trainer for the 2nd shift in Homerville, GA. You will deliver hands-on training for line operators, coach staff on SOPs and safety, and maintain training records to ensure compliance with quality standards.

The role emphasizes teaching housekeeping, equipment operation, and safe work practices, with opportunities to support continuous improvement initiatives and workforce development across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate production specifications for production machinery.
• Thorough understanding of production equipment and safe work practices.
• Familiarity with CI methods (CBSQ, GEMBA, 5S) and Greif values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on training for line operators and production roles.
• Coach and qualify new and existing employees on SOPs, quality standards, and safety.
• Instruct on housekeeping and workplace organization and safety.
• Train employees to inspect, measure, and weigh bottles to ensure specs.
• Monitor trainee performance and provide constructive feedback and follow-up support.
• Maintain accurate training records and production logs.
• Identify and report quality concerns, defects, and production issues.
• Serve as a subject matter resource for operators on processes and equipment.
• Support workforce development and onboarding initiatives and continuous improvement.
